PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device and method capable of easily connecting adhesive sheets.SOLUTION: The long body connection device is provided with holding means 20 including a holding member 23 which can hold a front end part area of a first adhesive sheet AS1 or a second adhesive sheet AS2 and a tape for connection JT and can move the front end part area and the tape for connection JT to a pasting position PS1 facing pasting means 30 and a specified or unspecified position PS2 separated from the pasting position PS1. Thus, work for holding the front end part area of the first adhesive sheet AS1 or the second adhesive sheet AS2 and the tape for connection JT can be performed at the specified or unspecified position PS2 having wider work space, whereby the first adhesive sheet AS1 and the second adhesive sheet AS2 can be easily connected with each other. |
