PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk array device, etc. that enables easy identification of a cause of an error caused.SOLUTION: A controller 20 of a disk array device 10 includes: a host side I/O processing part 101 for receiving a host side I/O instruction from a host device; a subordinate side I/O processing part 102 for issuing a subordinate side I/O instruction to each physical device; a response processing part 103 for receiving a response to the subordinate side I/O instruction from the physical device and processing it; a retry processing part 104 for issuing the subordinate side I/O instruction again when the response has an abnormality; and a log output part 105 for storing the subordinate side I/O instruction with the abnormality caused, in a log storage area. Furthermore, the controller 20 comprises a trace management part 106 for storing the subordinate side I/O instruction corresponding to the host side I/O instruction in a preliminarily-provided command trace area. |
