The present invention addresses the problem of providing a base isolation stand, which can easily be made into a base isolation stand for large equipment, for which the structure has been simplified and assembly is easy, and which can also prevent rotation of the mobile stand in the &thetas;-axial direction. The base isolation stand is equipped with: a base (2) provided with two dish-shaped concavities (21); a mobile tray (3) provided with two dish-shaped concavities (31); spheres (4) disposed between the two dish-shaped concavities (21) and the two dish-shaped concavities (31); a cage (5) obtained from two retaining plates (51, 52) that are connected, sandwiching the spheres (4) therebetween from above and below; a base-side bridge (23) that passes above the lower retaining plate (51) of the two retaining plates (51, 52); and a mobile tray-side bridge (33) that passes below the upper retaining plate (52). Between the lower retaining plate (51) and the base-side bridge (23) and/or between the upper retaining plate (52) and the mobile tray-side bridge (33), a &thetas;-axial rotation-preventing member (8), which keeps the intersection angle of the retaining plate (51, 52) and the bridge (23, 33) constant as a result of the retaining plates (51, 52) sliding with respect to the bridges (23, 33) according to the movement of the mobile tray (3), is interposed. |
