PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a water amount derived from a living body in a non-contact state.SOLUTION: A living body water amount detection unit 1 includes: a light source 11 that irradiates electromagnetic wave to a fabric part 231 as a detection target; at least one sensor 141 that detects a return amount of the electromagnetic wave reflected by the fabric part 231; and a calculation part 15 that calculates the return amount detected by the sensor 141 and converts it into the water amount.
