PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow granular filler having flowability appropriately along the shape of the head of a user in a state of being filled in a pillow, and keeping a pillow temperature at a comfortable low temperature equal to or less than an extended period body temperature by the cold insulation effect of a latent heat storage material held in a hollow grain body.SOLUTION: A pillow granular filler is obtained by: forming a resin granular filler to be filled in a pillow for bedding from an aggregate of a spherical shell-shaped hollow grain body 1 having an opening 1a and a wall thickness of 0.1-0.5 mm; holding in a dispersion state, 5-30 mass% of microcapsule powder 2 including a paraffin latent heat storage material of 22-37°C melting point and having a grain diameter of 1-100 μm, in resin forming the hollow grain body 1; and if necessary, holding a microcapsule including flavor such as cypress aromatic oil. The pillow for bedding is filled with the pillow granular filler. |
