PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrate burner capable of soundly retaining a coating layer without reducing the coating layer formed at the side wall of a reactor, a self-fluxing furnace provided with the concentrate burner, and a method for operating the self-fluxing furnace.SOLUTION: Using a concentrate burner 10 comprising: a concentrate chute 12 formed so as to be a tubular shape and introducing a refining raw material 16 into a reactor 2; an auxiliary fuel burner 17 provided at the inside of the concentrate chute 12 coaxially and introducing an auxiliary fuel 22 into the reactor 2; and a position regulation part 19 regulating the position of the auxiliary fuel burner 17 to a horizontal direction, when the indication value of one thermometer among a plurality of thermometers provided at equal intervals at the side wall of the reactor 2 in a self-fluxing furnace 1 exceeds a control range, the position of the auxiliary fuel burner 17 is regulated to a horizontal direction by the position regulation part 19 of the concentrate burner 10. |
