PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is necessary to separately arrange brazing filler metal in the vicinity of a joint in addition to a material that forms a structural member or to use a brazing sheet in which brazing filler metal is clad to the structural member in brazing and soldering, and in either case, the cost of the material is raised and the degree of freedom of machining, such as cutting, is low because of the presence of brazing filler metal.SOLUTION: In a method for joining an aluminum alloy material, as one member to be joined, and one of the aluminum alloy material and a pure aluminum material, as the other member to be joined, at temperature in which the ratio of the mass of a liquid phase generated within the aluminum alloy material to the total mass of the aluminum alloy material, which is the one member to be joined, is more than 35% and not more than 65%, joining is performed in a non-oxidizing atmosphere in a state where flux is applied between joining members. |
