PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect an electronic apparatus on a private network.SOLUTION: An apparatus detection terminal 10 that is communicably connected with a network address prediction server 200 receives, from the network address prediction server 200, network address that are predicted to be allocated to electronic apparatuses 50 in a private network; checks whether the electronic apparatuses 50 exist at the received predicted addresses; and obtains apparatus information of the electronic apparatus 50 confirmed to exist.
