PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique taking into consideration safety of a terminal in which, when a power receiving apparatus is longitudinally placed or laterally placed, power is received with the degree of freedom in the moving direction of the placed terminal and voltage is prevented from being induced in a rail exposed to the power receiving apparatus during receiving power.SOLUTION: A power receiving device includes power receiving means for receiving power through a rail-shaped power receiving electrode formed in each of a plurality of side surfaces of a housing included in own terminal. The own terminal is operated by power received from the rail-shaped power receiving electrode formed in one of the plurality of side surfaces or charges a secondary battery, and power being received is prevented from being induced in the power receiving electrode other than the power receiving electrode which is receiving power. |
