PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure for a connector and a seal method for a connector that can miniaturize a housing and reduce the number of parts.SOLUTION: In a seal structure for a connector 1 having a covered conductor 7, a terminal 13 which is connected to the terminal portion of the covered conductor 7 and has a connection portion 11, and a housing 15 in which the terminal portion of the covered conductor 7 is disposed, the cover portion 5 of the covered conductor 7 and the housing 15 are formed of thermoplastic resin, and the housing 15 is molded while the terminal portion of the covered conductor 7 is disposed in the housing 15 and the connection portion 11 of the terminal 13 and the coating portion 5 of the covered conductor 7 are exposed to the outside. A water-proof member 17 is provided between the housing 15 and the cover portion 5 of the covered conductor 7 which is exposed from the housing 15 to the outside. The water-proof member 17 is formed in a cylindrical shape, the covered conductor 7 is inserted in the water-proof member 17, and an end portion of the water-proof member 17 at the housing 15 side and an end portion of the water-proof member 17 at the cover portion 5 side of the covered conductor 7 are thermally adhesively fixed to the housing 15 and the covered conductor 7. |
