A push switch is provided with a knob 8 that causes the movable contact point 9a in contact with the fixed contact point 7a to slide thereon by a push operation of the knob, thereby connecting/disconnecting the movable contact point 9a and the fixed contact point 7a. A sliding direction of the movable contact point 9a is set to a direction vertical to the push direction of the knob 8, and the push operation of the knob allows the movable contact point 9a in contact with the fixed contact point 7a to slide in a direction vertical to the push direction of the knob 8. |
