PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starter capable of stabilizing a spring load of an interception mechanism as an impact absorbing mechanism, and facilitating the setting and management of intercepting torque due to friction engagement.SOLUTION: Either one of a first transmission member or a second transmission member is equipped with a first flat surface formed vertically to an axial direction at its claw portion, and the other of the first transmission member and the second transmission member is equipped with a second flat surface formed vertically to the axial direction on its surface portion and capable of abutting on the first flat surface. An initial value of a spring load is ensured by making the first flat surface and the second flat surface abut on each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
