PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device with stabilized operability in positioning a sheet in the crosswise direction.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device 1 includes: a pair of sheet restriction members 100L and 100R movable in a crosswise direction of a sheet 99 placed on a placing surface 85, and restrict both edges 90L and 90R in the crosswise direction of the sheet 99 from outside in the crosswise direction, respectively; an operation part 120 for operating both sheet restriction members 100L and 100R so as to move in the crosswise direction; and an interlocking mechanism 140 which, as one of the sheet restriction member 100L or 100R moves, simultaneously moves the other of the sheet restriction member 100L or 100R. The operation part 120 and the interlocking mechanism 140 are provided to be positioned on the opposing face 95 side across the loaded sheet 99 with respect to the mounting surface 85. |
