摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new thermoplastic (meth)acrylic resin having an improved characteristics such as stability against heat.SOLUTION: A thermoplastic (meth)acrylic resin is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable composition comprising (A) a monofunctional (meth)acrylic monomer having a fluorene skeleton and (B) a single functional non-fluorene-based (meth)acrylic monomer [especially, the non-fluorene-based (meth)acrylic monomer (B) containing methyl methacrylate singly or as a main component]. The thermoplastic (meth)acrylic resin obtained by the polymerization has a high refractive index (eg. ≥1.5 refractive index at 25°C and 589 nm) and an excellent stability against heat (eg. the 5% weight loss temperature is ≥200°C).
