An object of the present invention is to provide a system for controlling equipment having a wireless communication function by using a mobile application and an external control module. According to the present invention, the system comprises: a wireless communication connector (112) which is included in equipment (110); an external control module (120) which is connected to the wireless communication connector (112); a terminal (10) which stores and executes a mobile application (130) adapted to control operation of the equipment (110); and a wireless communication application (122) which transmits and receives control data of the equipment (110) by using the external control module (120) and the mobile application (13) of the terminal (10). The wireless communication application (122) is accommodated in the external control module (120), and is switched to a state in which the control data of the equipment (110) can be transmitted and received through the wireless communication application (122) when the external control module (120) is connected to the wireless communication connector (112) of the equipment (110).
