The present invention relates to a lighting apparatus, and particularly, to a lighting apparatus using a light emitting diode and a method for controlling the same. The present invention includes the steps of: setting a light source emitting a first light having a first spectrum, a second light having a second spectrum, and a third light having a third spectrum, and a driving control variable of the light source emitting the first light, the second light and the third light to have a value corresponding to a target color region on the color coordinates specified by light change according to the temperature of the light; measuring the temperature of the light source to calculate a driving control value of the light source emitting the first, second and third light, to compensate for the light change according to the temperature of the light; and resetting the driving control variable of the light source emitting the first, second and third light such that the calculated driving control value is applied, and driving the light source by using the calculated driving control value. |
