Provided is a method for manufacturing a sulfide solid electrolyte which can prevent deterioration of the sulfide solid electrolyte and can improve the lithium ion conductivity. In a step of crystallizing the sulfide solid electrolyte with heat treatment, the ambient concentration of oxygen containing organic compounds is no more than 100 ppm.
