[Class 108 (ii)] An anti-tipping device for a perambulator or like vehicle comprises a pair of support stays 31, 32 pivotally secured one at the fore and one at the aft end of the vehicle and a lever 25 having its fulcrum 24 intermediate its ends and connected by rods 29, 30 to the respective support stays, the said lever being operable to move both support members simultaneously into an operative position. A transverse member 17 secured by plates 18, 19 to the vehicle springs 11, 12, or an intersecting pair of members connected to the axles, supports the lever 25. The rods 29, 30 are connected by pivots 36, 37 or by universal joints to bars 34, 35. A handle 38 secured in a curved, slotted member 40 by pins 42 is pivotally connected to the lever 25. Sleeves on the axles may carry the supports 31, 32, collars restraining side movement.
