PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the elongation of the service life of a bearing race by controlling the crystal grain size of old austenite to ≥No.11.SOLUTION: The method for producing the bearing race includes: a stock production step 1 of annealing a hot-rolled bearing steel to make a working stock 6; a cold forging step 2 of subjecting the working stock 6 produced in the stock production step 1 to cold forging to mold a ring stock 7; a cold ring rolling step 4 of subjecting the ring stock 7 molded in the cold forging step 2 to cold ring rolling to mold a bearing race stock; and a heat treatment step 5 of subjecting the bearing race stock 8 molded in the cold ring rolling step 4 to heat treatment to produce a bearing race. The cold forging is performed in such a manner that a working degree F1 in the cold forging step 2 is controlled to 0.5 to 0.8. |
