PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head provided with measuring parts which facilitate the measurement of port positions for inspecting port shapes of an intake port and an exhaust port, have a high degree of the freedom of shapes, and can be easily formed or removed, and in which a change in measurement positions attributable to the kind of the cylinder head is small, and a manufacturing method and an inspection method thereof.SOLUTION: In a cylinder head 12 in which an intake port 41 and an exhaust port 42 whose communication with a combustion chamber 4 is opened or occluded by engine valves 45 and 46 whose shafts 45b and 46b are slidably supported by a valve guide 57 are formed, measuring parts 7 for inspecting port shapes of the intake port 41 and the exhaust port 42 are continuously formed projectingly from a valve guide boss 47 in the intake and exhaust ports during the cylinder head casting process, and when retaining holes 58 for retaining the valve guide are processed and formed in the valve guide boss after the measurement for the port shape inspection, the measuring parts are cut and removed concurrently. |
