PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner having an air cleaning function and improved in reliability.SOLUTION: An electric vacuum cleaner 1 includes a first air passage 11 provided in a body part 2 while making a first suction port 11a and a first exhaust port 11b, which are opened in the body part 2, communicate with each other, a first air blower 6 and a dust-collecting part 20 provided in the first air passage 11, a second air passage 12 provided in the body part 2 and separated from the first air passage 11 while making a second suction port 12a and a second exhausting port 12b, which are opened in the body part 2, communicate with each other, and a second air blower 17 and a filter 16 provided in the second air passage 12, drives the first air blower 6 to collect the dust in the dust-collecting part 20, and drives the second air blower 17 to collect the dust in the air through the filter 16. The electric vacuum cleaner 1 includes an openable cover part 15 provided on the body part 2 to cover the second suction port 12a, and cover opening/closing means 21, 22 making the cover part 15 open when the second air blower 17 is driven. |
