The present invention relates to a novel compound having excellent hole-injection, hole-transport and light-emitting capabilities and the like, and to an organic electroluminescent device which comprises the compound in at least one organic layer and thereby has the characteristics of a low driving voltage, a high luminous efficiency, and an improved lifespan.
