PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a curved direction of a glass ribbon without generating cracks in the glass ribbon.SOLUTION: In an apparatus for manufacturing a glass ribbon, at least one of support rollers for supporting both sides of a glass ribbon G in the width direction in an annealing region and a cooling region is a shape stabilizing roller for stabilizing the shape of the glass ribbon G curved in the width direction. The shape stabilizing roller is constituted of a first roller 11 arranged on one surface side of the glass ribbon G and a second roller 12 arranged on the other surface side of the glass ribbon G. The inner end 11c of each roller 11a of the first roller 11 in the width direction is positioned on the outer side in the width direction than the outer end 12c of each roller 12a of the corresponding second roller 12 in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
