摘要 The present invention relates to a composition for a liquid crystal alignment layer, which is obtained by mixing a first polyamic acid solution to which a tertiary amine is added with a second polyamic acid including a polyamic acid different from the first polyamic acid. A polyamic acid salt is formed in the first polyamic acid solution to which a tertiary amine is added to generate layer separation by a difference in polarity between the two solutions. Thus, it is possible to form a dual-layer liquid crystal alignment layer without using any additional coating process, thereby improving processing efficiency and increasing an imidization ratio of polyimide through the tertiary amine. Therefore, it is possible to improve light alignment property and a latent image caused by alternating current driving in a liquid crystal display device.
