A system to which the present invention is applied assumes that data is received through a plurality of transmission lines. To appropriately process the received data, the system includes position detection means for correcting a skew of data transmitted respectively through the plurality of transmission lines, and detects for each line a position of a marker for identification of a lane which is assigned the data, and information extraction means for extracting identification information indicated by the marker for each lane using a result of the detection of the position of the marker by the position detection means.
