The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating circulatory disturbance or metabolic disease, containing a persimmon leaf extract of a fraction thereof as an active ingredient. The composition may additionally contain a citron extract of a fraction thereof as the active ingredient. The persimmon leaf extract or the fraction thereof, or a composite extract of persimmon leaves and citron or the fraction thereof can excellently inhibit plasmatic coagulation and formation of serotonin, thereby offering antithrombotic efficacy. In addition, the extracts or the fractions reduce an amount of lipid in plasma and a hepatic tissue in vivo, thereby being useful for preventing or treating circulatory disturbance and metabolic disease.
