PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of electric power supply to a load in autonomous operation by deriving maximum electric power that a plurality of solar cell strings can supply in cooperative operation by a power conditioner for photovoltaic power generation.SOLUTION: Boosting chopper circuits 30A-30C convert output voltages of solar cell strings 21A-21C into predetermined voltages. Their voltage conversion rates are controlled by individual control units 35A-35C in the cooperative operation for each of the boosting chopper circuits according to output characteristics of the solar cell strings connected to the boosting chopper circuits, and also controlled uniformly by a batch control unit 36 in the autonomous operation. Consequently, the output voltages of the respective solar cell strings can be adjusted in the autonomous operation according to the output characteristics to derive the maximum electric power which can be supplied. In the autonomous operation, the output voltages of the solar cell strings 21A-21C can be adjusted uniformly to decentralize loads placed thereupon. |
