The present invention relates to a high intensity focused ultrasound apparatus. The high intensity focused ultrasound apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a main body; a first operating handpiece disposed on the main body; a second operating handpiece disposed on the main body and having a different purpose of operation from the first operating handpiece; a plurality of cartridges capable of being attached to and detached from the first operating handpiece or the second operating handpiece, and including an ultrasound treatment unit for producing high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therein; an actuator for actuating the ultrasound treatment unit; and a controller for controlling the actuator. The cartridges can include at least two or more among a first cartridge for an operation for reducing subcutaneous fat, a second cartridge for an operation of skin tightening, and a third cartridge for an operation of gynecological diseases or vagina contraction.
