PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain higher control capacity even at a lower temperature and to suppress generation of unfavorable by-products such as ammonia and nitrous oxide, regarding exhaust emission control of a gas engine device having a gas engine burning an air-fuel mixture containing a fuel gas containing methane as a principal component and an oxygen containing gas, and an air-fuel ratio control means adjusting a mixing ratio of the fuel gas to the oxygen containing gas to control an air-fuel ratio of the air-fuel mixture introduced into the gas engine.SOLUTION: A catalyst A containing at least Pt, Rh and Ce, and a catalyst B containing at least Pt and Ir are arranged in series in order of the catalyst A and the catalyst B from the upstream side of an exhaust gas passage of the gas engine device. |
