The present invention relates to a viscosity controlling agent for a spandex polymer, which is obtained by making organic diisocyanate react with diol or diamine having the low molecular weight less than or equal to 1,000. The present invention further relates to a polymer for spandex containing less than or equal to 20 wt% of the viscosity controlling agent, and to a method for producing a spandex fiber or a thread using the polymer for spandex. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain spandex showing no reduction in material properties of the thread, by increasing viscosity of the polymer for spandex. |
