The present invention relates to a user-assisting swimming assistance apparatus that is configured to surround a lower body part such as calves and ankles, allows kicking to be omitted by providing buoyancy for the user′s lower body part underwater, and allows swimming posture correction or concentration on upper body muscle strength and waist muscle enhancement. The present invention is configured to enable a left-and-right repetition swimming method for a waist movement to right and left sides, and thus is useful for patients with knee joint and waist pain and persons with disabled lower legs. The present invention includes: a body formed of a floating material or configured to have the shape of a hollow floating tube; an insertion hole formed in the body to penetrate the body in the shape of a hollow column and configured to be capable of surrounding a part of the user′s lower leg; and a cut portion formed to be cut in one side wall of the insertion hole so that the part of the lower leg can be inserted into the insertion hole. In a case where the user swims with the part of the lower leg inserted into the insertion hole, the user′s lower leg floats underwater because of the body. With the present invention, swimming novices can concentrate on an arm motion or a lateral waist movement-based swimming method. |
