The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing: (a) an aluminum-containing antiperspirant active; (b) a modified clay suspending agent; (c) an oil system comprising: i. a plant derived oil; ii. a fatty acid ester; iii. a volatile hydrocarbon; and iv. a lower alkyl ether of polypropylene glycol. The composition controls body odor and perspiration without leaving visible white residue on the skin and/or staining an end-user's clothing.
