The tyre is characterized in that the tread (4) is made of a rubber composition having a shear modulus greater than or equal to 0.4MPa and less than 1MPa, in that the reinforcers (8) of the tread (4) have, in the direction in which they are present, an extensibility less than or equal to 30%, and in that the extensibility of the reinforcers is identical or different in the directions YY' and XX' or only in the direction YY'.
