Provided are an antenna module that overcomes the incompatibility between size and antenna characteristics, and an electronic device provided with the same. The present invention includes a laminated body (10) formed by laminating insulator layers, surface-mounted components (51, 52) mounted on the top surface of the laminated body (10), an antenna coil having a coiled shaft oriented in the direction in which the insulator layers are laminated or in a direction parallel to the insulator layers, and wire conductors (31, 32) that are electrically connected to the surface-mounted components (51, 52) or the antenna coil. The antenna coil is formed, in a helical shape, of a plurality of coil conductors (21, 22), which are formed in the plurality of insulator layers, and layer-connecting conductors that connect the ends of these coil conductors (21, 22), and the wire conductors (31, 32) are disposed inside the area in which the antenna coil is formed, in the laminating direction of the insulator layers. |
