A surf board device comprises a rigid board (1) and a flexible expandable chambered container (2), when pressure is applied to said container by a user the container is deformed propelling the surfboard along. The container may be made from rubber or PVC welded sheeting and filled with a fluid substance which is moved round the container in response to the applied pressure. The container may have two chambers (6) one provided on each side of the rigid board, connected by a passage passing through a hole (4) in the centre of the rigid board. A layer of buoyant material (3) such as polyethylene foam may be provided on either side of the rigid board while the 3-layered construction may have a waterproof cover (5). Figure 1 |
