PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Agrobacterium bacteria which comprise three kinds of plasmids and are for use in plant transformation methods.SOLUTION: The Agrobacterium bacteria according to the invention include the following plasmids of (1)-(3): (1) the plasmid having the following components: i) virB gene, the virC gene, virD1 gene, virD2 gene, virD3 gene, virG gene, and virJ gene of pTiBo542, and (ii) an origin of replication; (2) the disarmed Ti plasmid or disarmed Ri plasmid of Agrobacterium bacteria; and (3) a plasmid having T-DNA region consisting of a desired DNA; wherein each plasmid of (1)-(3) has a replication mechanism which can be coexistent with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
