PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map application that intuitively grasp both a relationship between two positions indicated in a wide-area map and a detailed map of a portion existent between the two point.SOLUTION: The present invention divides a map, which includes a first position and second position, into plural areas including a peripheral area (211) of the first position (202) and a peripheral area (215) of the second position (204), arranges the areas, which result from the division, in a screen of a predetermined display unit with a positional relationship in the map retained. If the map becomes discontinuous on a border between adjoining areas, border objects (212 or 214) signifying that a partial map to be omitted exists on the border are displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
