The present invention relates to an apparatus for preparing metal magnesium using microwaves, the apparatus comprising: a heating container for receiving a raw material to be heated, the heating container including, as the material thereof, a heating element which generates heat by microwaves; a refractory wall which is formed in the outside of the heating container, has permeability to microwaves, and includes a refractory material; a housing for receiving the heating container and the refractory wall, and reflecting microwaves; and a microwave generator for generating microwaves in the heating container. Accordingly, the present invention can improve energy efficiency and minimize environmental pollution when metal magnesium is prepared. |
