PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device configured to allow a user to input desired operation content accurately with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A digital multifunction machine 11 includes: a touch panel section 21 having a display screen 28 for displaying information on operation content of a user, and detecting a touch state with a finger of the user, to prompt the user to input the operation content; a fingerprint image reading section 19 which reads a fingerprint of a user pressing the touch panel section 21, as an image, when the touch panel section 21 is pressed by a finger of the user; a size deriving section which derives the size of the finger of the user pressing the touch panel section 21, from the image of the fingerprint read by the fingerprint image reading section 19; a control section 12 for controlling the operation content, on the basis of the size of the finger of the user derived by the size deriving section; and an image processing section which processes the image, according to the operation content controlled by the control section 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
