PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short outer sheath tube propulsion system, to insert a metal stent in a biliary tract through an endoscope, which can easily release the stent at a precise target position and has excellent operability.SOLUTION: A short outer sheath tube propulsion system comprises a propulsion device and a fixation device. The propulsion device includes: a head end 1, an inner core 2; a subsidiary tube 3; a main tube 4; a sliding bar 5; a tail end 6; a guide string hole 11; a water injection tube 14; a stent 10; a short outer sheath tube 7; a connection line 8 and a double flanged ring 9. The stent is installed in a cavity formed by the inner core and the short outer sheath tube. The short outer sheath tube is longer than the stent and shorter than the subsidiary tube. The double flanged ring is installed on a periphery of the sliding bar and connected to the short sheath tube through the connection line. The stent can be precisely and single-handedly released by: fixing the main tube at an endoscope biopsy port with the fixation device; and pulling and sliding the double flanged ring in one hand along the sliding bar in a manner that moves the short sheath tube connected to the double flanged ring through the connection line and allows the subsidiary tube to be sheathed therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A |
