PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas circuit breaker of low cost, which is reduced in current required for deceleration by adding attenuation from outside during braking of a movable piece.SOLUTION: A gas circuit breaker has in an operating-part case 110 an operating part 100 including: a breaking part with a pair of contact pieces provided opposite each other in a breaking-part case 1; a movable element 141 in which the magnetic poles of permanent magnets 142 are alternately inverted, at the same time, are arranged on the same axis as the operation axis of contact pieces, and are integrated by a fixing member; and a stator 131 arranged opposite the movable element and composed of a plurality of magnetic poles having a coil. A dumper-device case 154 is provided on the operation axis of the movable element 141 and at the end of the operation-part case 110 opposite the breaking-part case 1. The guide part 157 of the movable element is sandwiched between the dumper-device case 154 and the end face of the operation-part case 110, and they are fastened together with a bolt 156 screwed on an axis parallel to the operation axis of the movable element 141.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
