A smart bulletproof device for monitoring a position of an attacker, and a monitoring method therefor. A shooting monitoring unit (2) detects a shooting direction of a bullet and sends the shooting direction of the bullet to an information processing unit (3); the information processing unit (3) calculates a shooting speed of the bullet, determines a type of the bullet and determines a position of an attacker according to the shooting direction of the bullet; and the information processing unit (3) sends the position of the attacker to a cloud service platform by means of a communication unit (4). According to the smart bulletproof device for monitoring a position of an attacker and the monitoring method therefor, a source direction of a bullet is determined by means of the smart bulletproof device after an attacked person is attacked, and a position of an attacker is monitored, and a cloud service platform provides information to friendly forces according to position information of the attacker, and therefore requirements of a future battlefield are satisfied.
