The invention relates to a method for producing an electric oil pump (1), in particular an electromotive auxiliary pump for a motor vehicle, comprising a housing (2) in the form of a pot-like housing part (2a) having a housing bottom (5) and a housing cover (2b), which housing has at least one inlet (15) and one outlet (16), and comprising a pump rotor (11), which is inserted rotatably around an axis (Ai, Aa) in the pot-like housing part (2a), wherein due to axial shifting of at least one rotor part (11a, 11b) of the pump motor (11), the abutment thereof to the housing cover (2b) is established, the latter is fastened to the pot-like housing part (2a), and subsequently, the rotor part (11a, 11b) or the pump rotor (11) is axially returned, thus forming an axial gap (d). With regard to the oil pump (1), identical material components, in particular steel, are provided for the housing (2) and for the pump rotor (11). |
