PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measurement device capable of highly accurately performing distance measurement even while moving.SOLUTION: Intensity-modulated region light is emitted from a projector unit 11 and reflection light thereof from a measurement target P is captured by a camera 12, after which an edge is detected through synchronous detection processing of a reception signal contained in the captured image. Since the region light emitted from the projector unit 11 is intensity-modified such that predetermined emission intensity, which is approximately half of maximum emission intensity, is excluded from the emission, the synchronous-detection-processed signal does not include a zero level signal, which results in detection of positive or negative signal levels. This allows for highly accurate positive/negative determination of the reception signal and thus leads to improvement in distance detection accuracy. |
