摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metal coil material capable of manufacturing a metal coil material excellent in flatness with high productivity, and a metal coil material suitable for a raw material of the metal coil material excellent in flatness.SOLUTION: A rolled coil material is produced by warm-winding a rolled plate warm-rolled in a coil shape, and a heat treatment is applied to the rolled coil material at a temperature higher than a rolling temperature at the warm-rolling. By applying the warm-rolling, even a metal inferior in plastic workability at a low temperature such as a magnesium alloy can be worked in a thin sheet and further easily wound up. By making a metal coil material wound up in a coil shape a heat treating object, whole thereof can be hold in a uniform temperature environment, and a temperature control becomes easy. The coil material after the heat treatment can be sufficiently and uniformly expanded and straightened even in a low temperature of lower than 100°C since removal of processing strain and recrystallization are carried out. Therefore, the metal coil material excellent in flatness can be manufactured with high productivity.
