The mesh has wire strands intertwined with one another, where one of the wire strands has two composite material wires (13) and extends over the entire length of the mesh. The material wires comprise a core wire (14) made from X-ray-viewable material and a cover (15) made from shape memory material. The material wires are arranged parallel to each other in a mesh plane (16) of the mesh. The material wires comprise cross-sectional diameter ranging between preferably 40 and 43 micrometers.
