PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member which is attached to a rear end of a box-like cargo bed of a vehicle to block a gap at a dock shelter such as a refrigerating warehouse, having a structure of simple form with large strength and rigidity, for improved sealing performance.SOLUTION: A seal member 1 made from steel material such as stainless steel is attached to a corner post CP at a rear end of box-like cargo bed. A protrusion distance L running backward of the seal member 1 is set to be the same as a protrusion amount of a hinge HG that opens/closes a rear part door of the box-like cargo bed. The seal member 1 is formed by bending a steel material to form a U-like cross section, with reinforcing plates 11, 12 welded to an upper part and a lower part of the steel material having the U-like cross section, for very large strength and rigidity. In the seal member 1, a front side 1B in the U-like cross section is screwed for attachment to a rear surface of the corner post CP by using a bolt or the like, to be flush with a rear end of the box-like cargo bed. Thus, when the rear end of the box-like cargo bed abuts with a dog shelter, leakage of chilled air from a gap between them is prevented. |
