Provided is a glass which is unlikely to react with fluorescence powders, has excellent weather resistance, and enables the production of a wavelength conversion member that rarely undergo deterioration even when used over a long period. A glass characterized by having a glass composition comprising, in mol%, 50 to 80% of SnO, 15 to 25%(excluding 25%) of P2O5, 0.3 to 3% of ZrO2, 0.1 to 10% of Al2O3, 0 to 10% of B2O3, 0 to 10% of Li2O, 0 to 10% of Na2O, 0 to 10% of K2O, 0 to 10% of Li2O+Na2O+K2O, 0.1 to 10% of MgO, 0 to 3% of CaO, 0 to 2.5% of SrO, 0 to 2% of BaO, 0.1 to 11% of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO and 0.5 to 10% of ZrO2+Al2O3+MgO, wherein a SnO/P2O5 ratio is 1.6 to 4.8. |
