PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type image forming apparatus which enables accurate measurement of transfer efficiency.SOLUTION: A wet type image forming apparatus comprises: a first pre-transfer carrier liquid reducing apparatus 118 which reduces carrier liquid of a first toner image T1 which has not passed through a transfer unit B; a pre-transfer image density measurement apparatus 111 which measures toner concentration of the first toner image T1 with carrier liquid reduced by the first pre-transfer carrier liquid reducing apparatus 118 before passing through the transfer unit B; a post-transfer carrier liquid reducing apparatus 108 which reduces the carrier liquid of a remaining image AT2 remaining on a first image carrier 110 of the second toner image T2 after passing through the transfer unit B; and post-transfer remaining image density measurement apparatus 107 which measures toner concentration of the remaining image AT2. |
