An image display apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: a display panel having at least, first pixels that display a first parallax image and second pixels that display a second parallax image; and an image conversion element. The image conversion element includes: a plurality of first electrodes arranged at a predetermined pitch; a second electrode; and a liquid crystal layer.
